By so doing, Kuwait's official news agency seeks to make use of state-of-the-art media technology to deliver its media message to the largest possible number of people, eventually leading up to serving the country's national development, Sheikh Mubarak said.
KUNA's new website, which retains the same current e-mail www.kuna.net.kw, features several technological services, primarily videos, facebook, twitter...
etc, he added.
Through its fresh website, KUNA will also provide political, cultural, economic and social information, in addition to pictures, via its information and picture archives, he noted.
The KUNA chief emphasized that e-media has proved presence, influence and speed in view of communication with many categories of society. It has also become the key method in the provision of news to the masses in a swift manner.
KUNA is doing its utmost to update its online news services, notably SMS, 120, facebook, twitter, with a view to coping with global media technological advancement, Sheikh Mubarak pointed out.
