Manama: Feb, 2 (BNA) Deputy Premier His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received today in Gudaibiya Palace the chief of Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) Dr. Mahmoud Charif Bassiouni who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain in response to an invitation extended to him by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.


The Deputy Premier welcomed Professor Bassiouni, accentuating the government's commitment to implementation of BICI's recommendations and added that the government has promptly provided full cooperation and support to the National Commission tasked with the implementation of BICI's recommendations in response to HM's directives in this regard, reiterating the government's commitment to making BICI's mission successful.
